MORE jobs are to go in Suffolk after food firm Vion announced that is to axe 820 posts across the country.
Workers in Haverhill will be among those affected, with factories in Malton in Yorkshire and Cambuslang in Scotland also involved.
The firm said it plans to close its abattoir, butchery and parts of its retail operations at Haverhill and transfer them to Malton.
At the same time, all cooked meat production will move from Malton to Haverhill.
It is not yet clear how many jobs will be lost in Haverhill.
