A MOTHER and her young baby were taken to Ipswich Hospital today after the car they were travelling in collided with another vehicle.The two-car accident happened on the corner of Bridgewater Road and Hawthorn Drive, in Ipswich, shortly before 10am.

The two-car accident happened on the corner of Bridgewater Road and Hawthorn Drive, in Ipswich, shortly before 10am.
The woman and baby, who had been travelling in a Rover car, were taken to hospital as a precaution and the driver of a Ford Mondeo was not injured.
The road was closed briefly while the vehicles were removed but was reopened by about 10.30am.
