A MOTORCYLIST died today after the bike he was riding was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle in the Tendring district of Essex.The man, a 40-year-old from Colchester, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in Walton Road, Thorpe-le-Soken.

A MOTORCYLIST died today after the bike he was riding was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle in the Tendring district of Essex.
The man, a 40-year-old from Colchester, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in Walton Road, Thorpe-le-Soken.
The crash, which happened at around 12.30pm outside New Hall, involved an orange Kawasaki motorcycle and a grey articulated lorry.
The driver of the lorry, a 59-year-old man from Dovercourt, was uninjured.
Police are keen to speak to any witnesses to the collision, or hear from anyone who may have seen two motorcyclists on bright orange bikes travelling together in the Clacton and Holland-on-Sea areas earlier today.
