A FARMER called emergency services after a muck heap caught light this afternoon.
Fire crews from Woodbridge and Ipswich were called to Black Barn Farm in Charsfield at 2.20pm.
Around 80 tonnes of straw and muck were alight at the property in Monewden Road.
Machinery from the farm was used to pull the heap apart to allow crews to dampen it down.
The fire was out by 5.19pm
