A MAN in his 90s was taken to hospital this morning after being knocked over by a car.
Police were called to the incident, which took place near a crossing on Stowmarket Road in Needham Market, just before midday.
A fire crew, who were returning from another incident, had stopped prior to the arrival of the police and ambulance to administer first aid and oxygen to the man, who was then taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance.
He was conscious and breathing and his injuries are non-life threatening.
