Celebrity chef and TV presenter Rosemary Shrager will headline the cookery demonstrations at this year’s Newmarket Food and Drink Festival.
Now in its fourth year, the popular event on September 15 and 16 will give visitors the chance to sample and purchase food from various local produce stalls, as well as grab a delight from the various street food vendors.
It will take place in the heart of Newmarket across Palace Street and the site of the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing & Sporting Art.
It will be free to attend and will tie into the 850-year anniversary celebration of Newmarket’s Market Charter.
Proceeds from the Food & Drink Festival will go to this year’s charities: Racing Welfare’s Newmarket Housing Project, the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art at Palace House, Newmarket, the Newmarket Day Centre and Newmarket Academy’s social mobility fund.
