A MAN was hit to the ground and then repeatedly punched and kicked in a mugging in Newmarket.
The 40-year-old - who was attacked in Valley Way around 11.30pm on Saturday, January 5 - was robbed of cash and his credit cards.
The victim, who suffered a swollen and bruised face in the attack, was set upon by three men.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw the trio, all of whom were described as white. One was short, while another was wearing a white jumper.
