Bolton Metals in Hadleigh Road has been taken over by French company, LeBronze Alloys.
Headquartered in Paris, the company bought the company for an undisclosed sum and the aquisition completed on December 8.
Speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times, Managing Director of LeBronze Alloys, Didier Pitot said: “It is a great company with a great, unique product so we are very happy to complete the acquistion.
“It is a complete aquisition and so we have retained all of the staff and will not be making any changes.”
Mr Pitot said he was not overly concerned with how Brexit would affect business, saying “The UK is a global competitor and I believe it will continue to be so even after leaving the European Union.
“If we did not believe Brexit could be a success, we would not be here.”
