Object thought to have been thrown from bridge over the A14 damages car windscreen

Police are appealing for information after a car was hit by an object on the A14 yesterday.

A woman was driving eastbound on the A14 between junction 50 for Stowmarket and 51 at Beacon Hill at approximately 2.30pm when a small object hit her windscreen, causing a small hole.

The woman was driving under a bridge at the time and it is believed that someone may have thrown the object at the car from the bridge.
