School staff have praised the community for coming along in large numbers to see their new classroom.
Old Newton CEVCP School, near Stowmarket, invited parents and residents to an open afternoon.
The classroom was formally opened by Paralympian bronze medal-winning athlete Zoe Newson, a former East Bergholt High School pupil.
Claire Goduti, a school admin assistant said: “The event was really successful and was open to the community.
“We had around 100 people come along, so we were really happy to see them all.”
