ONE person was rescued by firefighters from a smoke-logged house in Tonning Street, Lowestoft at 7.30pm this evening.Three fire crews were sent to tackle the blaze in a three-storey property and put it out within 20 minutes.

Three fire crews were sent to tackle the blaze in a three-storey property and put it out within 20 minutes. The blaze had broken out on the ground floor.
A spokesman for East of England Ambulance Service said one person had been taken to hospital but no details were available about their condition.
