A MULTI-vehicle accident left motorists facing large queues on the A14 today.
The three-vehicle smash happened on the Stowmarket-bound carriageway of the road, just before the Orwell Bridge at the Shell garage.
Police officers were called to the scene following the crash at about 5.40pm, but initial reports suggested no one was hurt.
The accident, which happened at the height of rush-hour, left commuters facing two-mile tailbacks.
The road was eventually clear at just after 8pm.
It followed earlier delays on the Orwell Bridge when a broken down lorry closed one lane of the Felixstowe-bound carriageway between 2.40pm and 4.15pm.
