Panthers clash with Wolves live on radio

Peterborough's Elite League match with Wolverhampton on Thursday will be broadcast live by BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's Sports team between 7 and 10pm on 95.

Peterborough's Elite League match with Wolverhampton on Thursday will be broadcast live by BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's Sports team between 7 and 10pm on 95.7FM and 1026AM.

The BBC team, headed by Sports Editor Nick Fairbairn will be presenting the show live from track side and he will be assisted by Panthers regular commentator Edwin Overland and Ex Panthers and Great Britain manager Jim Lynch who will be acting as a summariser.

Supporters are reminded that if they wish to listen to the interviews and commentary whilst watching the action they should pack a radio and headphones for the evening.

Nick Fairbairn, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's Sports Editor said: “BBC Radio Cambridgeshire is fully committed to covering local live sport and we're excited about following the Panthers throughout the season. We hope this Thursday will be the first of many Speedway Specials over the coming months. The Panthers feature regularly in our Sports Bulletins and Friday Sports Talk Show and we're delighted to have the opportunity to broadcast action packed Speedway Live from the track.”
