IPSWICH'S main parks will be closed tonight in anticipation of the biggest storm to hit this winter.
High winds are expected to hit the country overnight and Ipswich Borough Council has decided to close its main parks.
An Ipswich Borough Council spokesman said: “We advise anyone to take extra care before going into any other parks and open spaces that we cannot lock. Because of the winds that are expected we cannot protect them so we are asking people to be sensible.”
