Pedestrian, 89, in hospital after crash with car in Frinton

Essex Police are investigating a crash in Frinton involving an 89-year-old pedestrian.

The incident happened in Connaught Avenue at around 7.10pm on Saturday.

A grey VW Polo and an 89-year-old woman were involved, near the junction with Fourth Avenue.

Paramedics at the scene treated the woman for leg and facial injuries, before being taken to hospital, where she remains for further treatment.
