Police and paramedics were called to the scene of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian today.
The incident happened in Station Road, Sudbury, at about 1.20pm. The road was closed while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the pedestrian was taken to Colchester hospital, although their injuries are not thought to be serious.
The road was re-opened at 2.15pm.
