A 77-YEAR -OLD man who died after his bicycle was in collision with a skip lorry on the A12 at Darsham on Friday, April 4, has been named as John Fraser from Westleton, near Leiston.

The accident happed at about 2.45pm as Mr Fraser cycled from the junction of the C255 road The Street onto the A12. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and would particularly like to hear from drivers who were travelling behind the skip lorry, southbound, at the time of the crash.

It is believed there were at least half a dozen vehicles behind the lorry at the time of the accident and while police have spoken to several of these drivers it is thought there will be three or four others who officers still need to trace.
