POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal car crash near Stansted Airport this morning.
A 59-year-old man was killed after his Porsche hit a tree in Stansted Road, Bishop's Stortford, at about 6.30am.
The man, from Stansted Mountfitchet, was the driver of the blue Porsche 944 which was being driven towards Bishop's Stortford.
The road was closed for four hours while police investigated the accident.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to ring the Dunmow road policing unit on 0300 333 4444.
