Police in Braintree are appealing for witnesses after a traffic warden was threatened by a motorist on Tuesday.
The incident happened at about 11.30am, when the warden asked the driver of a white Ford Transit van to move from the restricted parking area in the town’s Great Square.
The driver refused, shouted and swore at the warden before threatening to assault him. He then drove off.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Pc Kristie Dawson at Braintree on 101.
