Police are appealing for information following an assault at a nightclub in Colchester.
A man in his 20s was assaulted at Atik on the High Street at around 1.50am on Saturday, April 8.
He suffered a number of facial injuries after he was punched in the face several times.
It is believed that the victim may have been involved in an argument with a man at some time before the assault took place.
Two men, aged 20 and 24, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and released under investigation.
Officers are looking for anyone who witnessed the incident or anything that preceded it to come forward.
They are also particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have mobile phone video footage.
