A pig and four chickens have been stolen from a field in Sudbury.

The pig, described as a grey/black sow, was taken between 8pm on July 21 and 1pm the following day, from a pen in a field in Newton Road.

Four chickens were also stolen from the same site between 4pm on July 25 and 9.30am on July 26, along with five bags of chicken feed and several cordless drills.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area between these times or anyone with information about those responsible for the thefts.
