Six incidents in east Suffolk are being investigated by police.

Overnight of January 31 and February 1 two incidents took place in The Street in Chillesford. A garage was broken into and a two litre fuel can containing unleaded petrol was stolen, and a second garage was broken into and an umbrella, a pressure washer and a vehicle was entered, searched and an attempt was made to take it – although it was not stolen.

Three incidents also took place in Pedlars Lane in Chillesford. The locks were removed from a garage door but with nothing being taken. Then at around 7.20am on February 1 a Land Rover was entered and searched, again with nothing taken – and an attempt was also made to enter a Ford Puma at another property.

Officers would like to speak with a man who was in the Pedlars Lane area at the time who may be able to help with these inquiries. He is described as white, 5ft 10in tall, aged in his mid-thirties, with dark spikey hair and wearing black jeans and a black hoody and possibly driving a Ford Focus.

In Orford between 12.30am and 8.30am on February 1 in Newton Broadway two sheds were broken into at a property and alcohol was stolen.

If you saw anything suspicious in any of these areas or if you have any information about these incidents, please call Pc Pete Gill at Police Headquarters, Martlesham Heath on 101.
