POLICE in Colchester have arrested a man on suspicion of rape after a issuing a high profile appeal for information.
The 21-year-old man from Colchester was arrested on June 19 in connection with an incident that took place in the early hours of Sunday June 15 in William's Walk in the town's Dutch Quarter.
The man was questioned and released on police bail until August 5 while further enquiries are carried out.
