Police ask for information about black van after A12 fail-to-stop collision in Brightwell

Suffolk-Constabulary-Norfolk-P

A car was hit from behind during a collision in which the other vehicle failed to stop.

Police are now looking for the driver of a black van, thought to be a Vauxhall Movano or similar, in relation to the incident in Brightwell.

A silver Hyundai was being driven southbound on the A12 around 2.30pm on June 22 when it was struck from behind by the van, close to the junction with Kennels Road.

No one was hurt but it is thought the van may have sustained some front-end damage.

The van appeared to be travelling with a silver grey Audi A3 and police are keen to trace the drivers of both vehicles.

Officers would also like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or who has any information about the vehicles involved.

If you can help please contact Pc Kelly Milton at Suffolk Police on 101, quoting CAD 265 of 22 June.
