An officer attending an incident in Haverhill returned to his vehicle to see it covered in cling film.
The incident happened yesterday morning and the Haverhill Police Twitter account said a policeman was taking a statement from a victim of crime only to find his police car has been wrapped in cling film.
“Well done to the lads who ran to tell us about it,” it said.
“Fortunately we were not delayed to any incident and PC 238 was able to see the comical side to it.”
