DETECTIVES were this afternoon given a further 12 hours to question a 27-year-old Ipswich murder probe suspect.

The man was arrested around 3pm yesterday afternoon in connection with the death of mother-of-two Rosalyn Hunt, 41, whose body was found in Victoria Street, Ipswich, around 11am on Sunday.

Ms Hunt is believed to have died some days prior to the discovery of her body. A post mortem has showed the cause of death was trauma to the body.

Meanwhile, two other suspects arrested in the murder probe - a 15-year-old girl and her 41-year-old boyfriend are also still in custody.

They were arrested on suspicion of murder after Ms Hunt was found, and a second body - that of Desmond Thorpe, 43, - was discovered at a first floor flat in Limerick Close, Ipswich, around 4am on Monday.

Their custody time limits were extended yesterday and run out at around 10pm tonight.

A post mortem has proved inconclusive in determining the cause of Mr Thorpe's death.
