Police helicopter and armed forces search in Leiston down to hoax call

Police believe that a phone call reporting a fight in Leiston was a hoax.

Armed forces and a police helicopter conducted a search around the town Tuesday morning but nothing was found.

Suffolk Constabulary received the call at around 9am stating that three or four men were fighting, possibly with weapons and at least one person was injured.

Police are investigating the call.
