Police hunt for missing man

POLICE today admitted they were becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 54-year-old Suffolk man who has been missing since June 16.

POLICE today admitted they were becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 54-year-old Suffolk man who has been missing since June 16.

Newmarket man Alistair Chivers, known as Des, was last seen at 2.15pm when he left, The Five Bells pub. The force said his disappearance was completely out of character.

Mr Chivers is white, around 5ft 8ins, with short grey hair and a beard and was wearing a blue checked shirt, green trousers and boots.
