A TEENAGER who died after getting into difficulties in a pond in Ipswich has today been named as Ashley Dorling.
A TEENAGER who died after getting into difficulties in a pond in Ipswich has today been named as Ashley Dorling.
Police were called by a member of the public at 4.10pm yesterday after hearing shouts for help from the pond near Jovian Way in Ipswich.
Police, the ambulance service, the fire service and Air Sea Rescue conducted an immediate search of the pond to try to locate Ashley.
The 15-year-old from Ipswich was recovered from the pond and taken to Ipswich Hospital in a critical condition, but was later declared dead.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
