Miss Alderton is believed to have caught the 5.53pm service from Harwich to Colchester on December 3 and got off at Manningtree. She is then thought to have taken the 6.43pm train to Ipswich.
It comes after Suffolk police pieced together the last movements of the 24 year-old through CCTV footage, enquiries and information from members of the public.
