Detectives investigating the murder of a 55-year-old Lowestoft man yesterday arrested a third suspect in connection with the inquiry.
The 23-year-old man, from Lowestoft, was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday afternoon and was taken into custody at Halesworth police station, where he was being questioned last night.
Two other suspects - a 22-year-old man and a boy of 16 - remain in custody at Lowestoft and Ipswich police stations and were also being questioned last night.
The man who died was found with serious injuries in an alleyway off London Road South on Wednesday and died at the James Paget University Hospital the following day.
He was found at about 10.30pm in an alleyway near the Royal Court Hotel, which stands between the KFC drive-through and the Kirkley Centre.
