Police are appealing for help in tracing a 15-year-old girl who went missing from her Suffolk home on Saturday, June 28.

Leah Swindells left her home in Carlton Colville at 9.30am to catch a bus to Norwich to visit friends. There was a sighting of her in the city centre shopping area during the afternoon but she was reported missing on Saturday evening when she failed to return home.

Although she has been missing before, police are concerned for her well-being and are asking her to get in touch.

Leah is white, 5ft 2ins tall and of medium to stocky build. She has close-cropped dark brown hair in a skinhead style and wears a loop ring in her bottom lip and a large loop ring in one earlobe. At the time she went missing she was wearing a light blue sweatshirt, jogging bottoms and dirty pink desert boots.

It is possible that she may be in the Norwich area or that she may have returned to Lowestoft. Leah is also known to have visited the Liverpool and Cheshire areas when she has previously gone missing.

Anyone who may have seen her or who may have information about where she is now should contact the duty sergeant at Lowestoft police station on 01986 835300.
