Jewellery and a three-figure sum of cash were taken in an aggravated burglary in Harwich.
Essex Police have released an e-fit image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident in Main Road.
Two men entered a house in the road just before 11.30pm on Friday, August 8.
They carried out a messy search and took several items including jewellery and a three-figure sum of cash.
One man is described as being black, around 6ft tall and of a large build, 25 to 30 years old with a thin styled beard. He had a London accent and wore black tracksuit bottoms and a black T-shirt.
The second man is described as white, around 5ft tall, slim build and in his early 20s. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms. The victim of the aggravated burglary was taken to hospital with a leg injury, which was not life-threatening or life-changing.
