POLICE have discovered a cannabis factory near Beccles.
Around 300 cannabis plants have been seized after officers raided a house in Ellough Road in Ellough, last Friday.
Previously a police officer on routine patrol had spotted the premises were not secure. When he investigated he discovered evidence of potential cannabis growing.
His suspicions were confirmed after fellow officers obtained a warrant to enter the house and found several areas set up as growing rooms.
The site was secured while investigations were carried out at the scene and cannabis plants and growing equipment was seized.
