POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing on Saturday.

Louise Penniall, was last sighted in Woodbridge and Melton yesterday but it is now believed that she may have left the area.

She is described as white, of medium build and around 5ft 3ins tall, with blue eyes and shoulder-length brown hair, which is usually tied in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing a light blue short sleeved T-shirt with four Mackenzie logos on the front, a turquoise long sleeved fitted V-neck top with three buttons, blue jeans and black Nike trainers. The youngster, from the Melton area, also wears small hoop earrings and diamond studs.

Although she has gone missing before, it is out of character for her to be missing for this length of time and police officers are extremely concerned for her wellbeing. It is believed she may be heading to Cambridge or Kent, but also could still be in the Woodbridge or Ipswich area.

Anyone who may have seen Louise, or who has any information about where she is now, should call the duty sergeant at Woodbridge Police Station on 01473 613500.
