RESIDENTS are being warned that another burglar has absconded from a Suffolk prison today.
Billy Swaley Smith is the second prisoner that officers have confirmed has not returned to Hollesley Bay in less than a week.
Police are still searching for information about Sunder Meyyappan, 52, who failed to return after a temporary release licence ran out on Friday.
Smith, 20, who was serving 22 months for burglary is believed to have absconded around 8am - 8.15am this morning.
He is described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair.
Police said he has connections to the Mulbarton area of Norwich.
If anyone sees him, they should phone the police with the details. They should not take any further action.
Anyone who may have seen him or Meyyappan, or who may have information about where either of them are now, should call Suffolk Constabulary on 01473 613500 or contact their nearest police station.
