POLICE are appealing for information following the death of several fish and frogs in a pond in Essex.
POLICE are appealing for information following the death of several fish and frogs in a pond in Essex.
Officers were called by the owner of a house in Stour View Avenue, Mistley, who reported that someone had poured a chemical into his pond, killing the animals.
The damage caused by the attack, which happened between 11pm on Tuesday, June 16, and 9am the next day, is estimated at �500.
A spokesman for Essex police said: “Someone has maliciously entered this man's garden and deliberately poured something toxic into the water. It is callous, criminal and anti-social.”
