FIVE people have been arrested today after a protest outside Sizewell power station.

A police spokeswoman said around ten protestors arrived at the site at 7am today and linked their arms together with tubes.

The group from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament were protesting at the environmental impact of nuclear reactors and uranium mining.

The access road to the site was blocked, affecting both Sizewell A and B which meant that workers had to park elsewhere and walk.
