Sporty pupils wore fancy dress and raced around their school grounds to raise money for a good cause.
Children at Bawdsey Primary School, near Woodbridge, took part in a Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The relatively small village school has built a reputation for sporting success over the last couple of years, reaching a number of county finals.
But the onus was on fun and fundraising at the school yesterday, with pharaohs, fairies and superheroes taking to the field for the big event, which almost the entire school took part in.
Race for Life Schools allows young children to take part in a Race for Life event with friends over a distance appropriate to age and ability.
