The main gate at RAF Mildenhall has been closed due to a suspicious vehicle.
Lt Col James Griffin, 100th Mission Support Group deputy commander, said officials at the base have activated the special control measures after 100th Security Forces Squadron personnel searched the vehicle.
The main gate (gate 15) is closed while investigations continue.
All inbound traffic should use the West Row gate (gate 11) until further notice.
