Rail services running to and from London Liverpool Street are being delayed because of a fault with the signalling system.
The fault is located between Stratford and London Liverpool Street, causing trains to run at a reduced speed and delays of around 10 minutes.
The issue affects trains running through Ipswich, Colchester, Manningtree, Chelmsford and Norwich.
A statement on the Abellio Greater Anglia website states that disruption is expected until 4pm.
