THE skipper of a boat was taken to hospital after suffering a head injury while aboard the vessel.
Thames Coastguard were called to Ramsholt at 7am on Saturday.
The casualty made his own way to the shore and was met by paramedics and the Shingle Street Coast Rescue Team. He was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.
