A MAN arrested by police investigating an alleged rape in Ipswich has been released on bail.
The 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape at an address in the town at 7am yesterday.
He was taken into custody at Ipswich Police Station for questioning.
Suffolk police today said the man had been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
It follows investigations in to an incident that occurred in the early hours of February 25 in Murray Road, where a woman in her 20s was allegedly raped.
