Warriors from throughout history will come to life at Stonham Barns this weekend when 13 different re-enactment groups recreate over 1,000 years of history.

The History Alive show is set to feature combat displays and living history encampments from a range of eras – with visitors coming face to face with everything from Viking warriors and American settlers, to Spanish civil war soldiers and armies from ancient Greece.

The re-enactments will display what it was like to live in different eras, providing a complete living history from Dark Ages medicine and tribal food and drink, to other crafts and skills.

In addition, visitors will be invited to see armour and weaponry demonstrations.

Also on offer will be music from bygone eras and entertainment to suit all ages.

The event is due to take place on Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1 between 10am and 5pm. For tickets, call 01449 711901.
