A MAN is understood to have broken his leg after being hit by a car near Bury St Edmunds today.
The accident happened in Hundred Acre Way in Red Lodge at around 8.45am.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service were called to the scene.
The man, who is believed to be in his 60s, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: “We suspect that the man may have fractured a bone around his knee. He was taken to West Suffolk General Hospital for further treatment”.
