REDGRAVE: Firefighters were called on to help rescue a horse from a river.
A water rescue vehicle, a fire engine and an off road vehicle were sent to the scene from Bury St Edmunds just after 3.45pm.
A horse was reportedly stuck in a river at Pond Farm, in Fen Street, Redgrave.
Rescuers faced difficulties getting across fields to reach the animal but, with the use of a four-wheel-drive vehicle, were able to lift the horse free using strops.
