The deadline for applications to go on the rolling register is Friday March 11 if as is widely expected the General Election is held on May 5.
Statutory elections for Suffolk and Essex county councils will take place also on May 5.
Application forms are available from district councils or can be downloaded from the Electoral Commission's website: www.electoralcommission.org.uk.
