IF your name is not on the electors' list, you may have barely a month to secure your right to vote for the General Election, council election officials have warned.

The deadline for applications to go on the rolling register is Friday March 11 if as is widely expected the General Election is held on May 5.

Statutory elections for Suffolk and Essex county councils will take place also on May 5.

Application forms are available from district councils or can be downloaded from the Electoral Commission's website: www.electoralcommission.org.uk.
