KING'S Lynn Stars manager Rob Lyon believes the reserves will hold the key in Wednesday night's Premier League battle against Rye House at the Norfolk Arena.

Lyon said: “The reason we beat Rye House in the Premier Trophy by over 20 points was because our reserves outscored theirs by 18 points to one. Fast forward nearly three months and Darcy Ward has now moved to No 1 in our team and for them Tommy Allen has now moved to reserve. Rye House are one of the few teams in the league with stronger reserves on paper than our own and Andrew Silver will be much sharper and more race fit than he was on his last visit.”

Guesting at No 3 for the Rockets in place of the injured Joe Haines will be Scunthorpe's Carl Wilkinson. Lynn's inactivity has seen them slip to fifth place in the Premier League table while Rye House sit third.

Stars: Darcy Ward, Linus Eklof, Emiliano Sanchez, Chris Schramm, Tomas Topinka, Kozza Smith, Jan Graversen.

Rockets: Chris Neath, rider replacement, Carl Wilkinson, Luke Bowen, Linus Sundstrom, Tommy Allen, Andrew Silver.
