Belly laughs were in abundance at the Ipswich Regent this week as Geordie comedy queen Sarah Millican brought two sold out performances of her Control Enthusiast tour to town.
Delivered in her typically blunt style, the 43-year-old’s show was centred around the vagaries of what women have to go through every day.
A particularly thorough debrief on bra fittings got the audience involved in a delightfully enthusiastic manner, while musings on why she is exactly like a fox and a day in the life as a member of the opposite sex (spent walking the dog if one audience member is to be believed) went down a treat.
If there’s one thing Sarah’s shows have become known for it is no topic being off limits, and there was plenty in her latest material to prove this is where she is best.
Quirky, original and abundantly entertaining, when it comes to comedy live, Sarah is at the top of her game.
