River Stour: Broken down 22 foot angling boat with three people on board rescued

A broken down 22 foot angling boat was towed to safety after it broke down in the River Stour.

A Felixstowe volunteer boat guardian attended the boat, which had three people on board, at 11.42am.

The boat was towed to Mistley after it had broken down off Shotley.

Nobody on board was injured.
